History
Eight years ago a group of university students felt that there was more to life then just school and success. They started a club called BnB (Body N’ Brain) at their university, MIT.
This group inspired other univeristy students across the country to create their own BnB clubs. They challenged students to look inside themselves to see their full potential. Students saw that through the BnB clubs they could release stress and emotional habits, connect with a bigger purpose in life and have fun.
In 2006 this club expanded to become a national initative for not only university students but any young individauls looking to empower themselves for the good of humanity.
The first term consisted of 21 students and young people from all over the country including: University of Hawaii, Washington, Houston, Arizona, Nevada, Massachusetts, Oregon; Harvard University & Savannah Colege of Art and Design. They gathered together for 6 weeks in Boston, Massachusetts. This group was a success. Not only did they empower themselves through consistent mind-body training but they made a positive impact in the community.
The following year, 87 young individauls got the opprotunity to experience the transforming program.
This year, in 2008, 50 individuals have already completed the Phoenix Project. They have discovered their power, passion and purpose!! |
